How much does eyebrow waxing cost?

The price of eyebrow waxing is often between €15 and €25* per session. However, this price can vary depending on the beauty salon and the technique used.

Getting your eyebrows waxed regularly is one of the essential beauty routines for having beautiful, well-defined eyebrows. Especially since the price of this service remains reasonable most of the time. Discover the different eyebrow waxing techniques and the prices associated with them.

Why pluck your eyebrows?

Eyebrow waxing allows you above all to highlight your eyes and harmonize the natural lines of your eyebrow arches.

Enlarge your eyes

The different hair removal techniques can thin out your eyebrows, but their main goal will be to restructure the line of your eyebrows. This will give you the opportunity to highlight your eyes and hide any small imperfections in your eyebrow arches (asymmetry, drooping eyebrows, etc.).

Give a neater look

A well-plucked eyebrow immediately gives a more sophisticated look. Moreover, if you are a makeup addict, having a good base, with a perfectly plucked eyebrow, will be a major asset to achieve impeccable makeup.

What are the different types of hair removal possible?

Although a mix of techniques is usually used to wax your eyebrows, there are three main types of eyebrow waxing.

Tweezers

Tweezing is the most common method. It allows for great precision and remains easy to master. In fact, other hair removal techniques often use it to finish off your eyebrows.

The thread

This ancestral technique uses a carefully folded thread that will serve to pull out the hairs to be removed. Not very painful, threading gives the same results as tweezing. On the other hand, this technique requires specific know-how and training to become sufficiently skilled with the movements of the thread.

The wax

In general, hot wax is used, as it is more malleable and offers a better final result. The advantage of wax is that it allows for hair removal on larger areas and the regrowth time is longer (about 1 month). On the other hand, it may be less well tolerated by sensitive skin.

Why is it better to go to a salon?

Getting your eyebrows waxed in a salon has several advantages.

A guaranteed result

By benefiting from the expertise of a professional beautician, you are almost certain to be completely satisfied with the final result.

A time saver

An eyebrow waxing session generally lasts between 10 and 15 minutes. While a home waxing may take you more time for a result that is not always up to your expectations. In addition, going to a beauty salon gives you the opportunity to give yourself a moment of relaxation just for you.

Benefit from expert advice

At least for the first few times, take advantage of the advice of an expert in eyebrow hair removal. Pick up valuable tips to then maintain your hair removal on your own in complete autonomy.

What are the prices for eyebrow waxing?

The prices for eyebrow waxing vary depending on the technique and the professional who performs it. At Atelier du Sourcil, we offer the following services and prices:

Restructuring (performed with tweezers, this service allows you to redefine the shape of your eyebrows) 32 € *
Eyebrow restructuring + tinting 42 € *
Monthly maintenance hair removal (within 2 months following the previous maintenance) 22 € *
Hair removal (for under 18s) 19 € *

Of course, each salon is free to offer the rates they want. As a general rule, the first session is more expensive, then the maintenance sessions are offered at a more advantageous rate.

Note that professionals with a very good reputation and located in large cities often offer higher rates.

Are there any other alternatives?

If you have sparse or thin eyebrows, eyebrow waxing will not help you achieve fuller brows or really rework your brow line.

In this case, permanent eyebrow makeup is certainly the most recommended technique.

This beauty routine uses dermopigments implanted using a very fine needle in the superficial layers of your epidermis. For eyebrows, microblading is the most suitable technique to reproduce your eyebrow hairs as faithfully as possible. Permanent makeup, and particularly microblading, has the advantage of giving a natural effect.

If, on the other hand, you want to achieve a more made-up effect, opt for microshading. Indeed, by playing with gradients and shadow effects, this technique gives a powdered effect to your eyebrows as if you had put on makeup.
